Peggy and her husband moved to Village Place eight years ago after her husband lost the use of his legs. In addition to taking care of her husband, she opens her home at the Villages to other residents, like the ones she cooked Thanksgiving dinner for last year. She says there are so many nice people in her building that she likes to be able to do nice things for them. She stays busy cooking meals for her husband and herself, as well as baking for her two grandchildren in California. She also enjoys an occasional outing to the casino, or to the grocery store to do her own shopping and meal planning. Without family in the immediate area, Peggy says it was nice for them to have a place to go, and that Village Place is very, very nice with so many wonderful advantages.
