If you ever want to talk about Kansas City sports, you can have a great conversation with Jo Villavicencio. Jo moved to Village Place three months ago after 50 years of living and raising a family in Kansas City, MO. With family here, she felt the need to be closer to her children.
Jo says she absolutely loves it in Iowa, especially the friendliness of the people at Village Place. She says she is very blessed to have made the move here when she made it so she is still able to enjoy the area.
With an apartment overlooking a local park, Jo gets to see a variety of wildlife including deer and turkey. Even though her view is terrific, she says there are also plenty of activities so you don’t have to stay in your room all the time. With all kinds of outings, meetings and group discussions, Jo says there’s always something going on at Village Place.
